Everybody's asking why we missed this yesterday. Since I work elsewhere in the afternoons, I just have to say "I wasn't here" (IE: I was smoking crack in an alley somewhere) But seriously, this deserves some recognition. Mythic Entertainment's Dark Age of Camelot has broken sales records for units sold in the first two weeks of release and already garner an impressive 100, 000 registered users. Sales data comes from NPD INTELECT Market Tracking for the week ending October 13th 2001. Very impressive, but no great shock to us -- the folks that have said all along that this game rocks..
I can also say this game rocks. After playing some in beta, and almost a lvl 24 healer on the live server, this game beats all. Could have a little more content, but then again look how many underused zones are in EQ.
