Because it is an FTP program. WebDAV and FTP have virtually nothing in common. That's like complaining that Chrome still doesn't have Usenet support.

Hm, this still crashes on OS X for me. Really lame.

When I was using it on Leopard on an eMac earlier this year it worked perfectly for me.

I'd consider the possibility of user error, but I just do not see how. I literally drag it to my applications folder and start it and it crashes. Mac is a week old
