How easy is this to customize. Last time i checked it was pretty rough. Would be nice if you could just download a mod, install it, and boom its done.

actually its no big deal - you have to install it as your main player for music, delete everything else and you will be amazed how you will be able to customize it by the end of the day

i had problems with winamp and around may 2009 and i went on a search for a substitute player, found spiderplayer (okay), aimp2 (superior than spider and winamp) and then i found foobar2000 - the best application ive ever seen - it has everything, from components to inbuilt features, it doesnt have a skin by default - something i really like about it and IT HAS NEVER CRASHED on me since i installed in may 2009

after a while you will easily get around with it - i heard there was a component to sync between apple devices, so with foobar2000 you dont need itunes (that garbage, same as winamp)

and i just found a way to have winamp's milkdrop visuals into foobar2000:

people just dont realize how great this piece of software is - its more stable than windows itself - ive had windows crash on me so that even the cursor stops moving, foobar2000 is still playing in the background
