The Foxit Reader is a fast, and feature rich PDF viewer which allows you to open, view, and print any PDF file. Unlike other free PDF readers, Foxit Reader also includes easy to use collaboration features like the ability to add annotations, fill out forms, and share information with social networks. Foxit Reader has a small footprint that starts up instantly, renders PDF files quickly and uses very little memory, which is especially important with today's handheld devices.

The Foxit Reader is packed full of convenient and easy to use viewing, commenting and printing features that make document collaboration simple. Foxit Reader's secure platform insures worry free operation against malicious virus and provides a secure and reliable digital signature verification platform for exchanging electronics documents without putting the user at risk from falsified documents.

Note: Contains an optional adware toolbar and it may be regarded as virus by your antivirus software. We recommend you deselect this option during installation.

I got that CloudReading thing too, and that's without agreeing with any crapware whatsoever. Just uninstalled it and moved along.

Just as with the previous version (6.1.1.1025) that I downloaded a mere 3 days ago, this also silently installs some "CloudReading" app that you're not given any option to skip.

As far as I can tell, this is NOT the toolbar mentioned in the article, as I'm not seeing it add anything to IE.

If they don't clean up their act soon and give you the option to skip something that's obviously not needed for the core app's functionality, at some point, I'll just start using another PDF reader.

This ****es me off. My PC is not FoxIt's beta testing playground. If they feel they have to include beta software, they need to make it optional.

I dropped them for that reason. They were good before pulling that crap on users.
