iTunes works nice on a Mac as one would expect, but the Windows version is horribly slow and feels out of place.

Try foobar2000, it has a component to sync to apple devices and its 983758435834 better than this piece of garbage.

I will. I didn't realize that I could sync with it. Thanks for the tip!

And.... I still can't start the Apple Mobile Device Service on a fresh Windows 7 x64 machine, with no other applications installed. Still stuck using a VM to sync my phone.
