Since Hosttyme stepped in to save Neowin back in July/August 2001 we have seen amazing support ranging from un-limited hosting in the beginning, to co-location and from today Dedicated hosting.
We are now located on our own server at Hosttyme. The server has dual 933MHz Pentium III CPU's and 1GB of Ram and runs on Apache. This is why you have seen some downtime recently what with the server move and various mysql problems we have had due to the massive amounts of connections to our database. I would personally like to thank Hosttyme again for their kickass support of Neowin and I'm sure that this move will benefit our visitors.
MySQL errors
Some people were getting MySQL, this was due to moving the entire database over to our new server, that had been configured differently and was being looked out when the site "maxed out" The connections have now been raised to compensate for the amount of visitors we get
