Howdy Peeps! We have seen a server upgrade take place in the last 24 hours, due to this upgrade and the changing of Server critical files it seems we were wide open for attack yesterday in which the server was for a short time hacked by someone who managed to deface our main page - naughty!
Speed should improve, I am confident that this will happen, there are a few things not working correctly because of the server upgrade, Time offset is incorrect and some Recent news info is not displaying. We will have this fixed later today.
What can I say further? Only that I am sorry if Neowin has not been up to speed recently I can assure you we are doing everything we can to make your visit a worthwhile one here. We have seen a massive increase in "server hits" due to recent events and hope that we can cope with the new influx of visitors.
Again I would like to thank everyone for their supportive emails and notification of server problems, I can't answer everyone, but know I appreciate it alot. Also to HostTyme who have their hands full of us and continue to support us through thick and thin.
