After installing these, the brightness on my primary screen was set to full until I rebooted, weird or what?

Was also doing Windows Update, so had to reboot anyway.

Getting driver crash/recovery problems with this driver on a GTX460, Win7 Ultimate x64. Didn't happen on previous driver so had to roll back. I don't do 3D crap, so no loss for me.

Driver crash and recovery is also a problem for me. I have noted it within the NVidia forums. It is more of a problem when using Firefox 5 (with or without GPU acceleration).

Going back to the 275.33 drivers and all is back to normal.

Using Win 7 x64 and a Gigabyte GTX 460 1GB.

280.26 should still be beta and not whql. I keep getting display driver crashes (gtx460) after updating so the drivers have been rollback to 275.50 and all are fine.

I had to roll back. This driver was causing my left (main screen) to go out with the words DVI-D out of range instead of DVI_D No Signal. I had to crash the machine to get it back. I'll deal with the quick core driver resets of 275.33 instead. Gigabyte 570GTX OC.

I tried the beta of this driver with my GTX 460, lot of random driver crashes, it is also said to overheat, so for now I'll stick with what I have

Driver a FAIL for me too. Performance is great, but for the first time just loading a page in IE9 caused a display driver crash-recover. GONE.

it seems they have reported the issues to nVidia, but a new driver won't see the light until September, so I'll try this one, but will be ready to roll back if it doesn't work
