While installing my courtesy copy of Windows XP Home Edition, I noticed that Windows Update has added a new Update to the WinUpdate page, this being Window Movie Maker 1.2. If you like to play around with movies this is worth getting. A noticeable worthwhile update is also the MSN messenger update that resolves pops and crackles whiloe listening to music (if someone logs on at the same time) Grab them!

Windows Movie Maker 1.2 is an update for Windows Movie Maker 1.1, released in Windows XP. Windows Movie Maker 1.2 supports the new Windows Media v8 video codec and, additionally, enables recording of video at a frame size of 640x480. Users who want to increase the maximum frame size for recording and create higher quality output using the latest codecs should download this update. This update also improves quality related to publishing DV-AVI files.
