Prey can now be pre-ordered with extras, will arrive in May 2017

After being announced at Bethesda's press conference during E3 2016, Prey will finally arrive to consoles and the PC in May. It has been over a decade since the original Prey made its debut, but the next iteration in the series is now available for pre-order.

The original Prey offered a unique spin on a first-person shooter, giving the protagonist the ability to use a "spirit" to explore areas that would otherwise be inaccessible to the player. You also had access to weapons and alien technology and were able to explore the world using portals and experienced areas that would offer unique gravity shifts. The new Prey doesn't follow the same character from the original, but you are fighting for your life in a space station and are imbued with new abilities.

Prey will arrive on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on May 5. Those that pre-order the title will gain access to the "Cosmonaut Shotgun" pack that will offer numerous in-game goodies like the Margrave shotgun, medkits, ammo, and more.
