US retailers offer discounts on Windows 10 PCs for upcoming Anniversary Update

Microsoft has announced on its Windows blog that several retailers are currently selling Windows 10 PCs at discounted prices to celebrate the Anniversary Update coming on August 2. Students will be able to receive an even larger discount, if they choose to take advantage of the available offers.

The PCs that are being discounted are as follows:

  • ASUS Q524 | regularly priced at $1049.99 - $150 off (students save an extra $150) (Best Buy).
  • Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 17.3” touch screen laptop | regularly priced at $999.99 - $100 off (students save an extra $150) (Best Buy).
  • Dell XPS 13 | regularly priced at $1099.00 - $100 off (Microsoft Store).
  • HP Pavilion x360 | regularly priced at $729.99 - $100 off (Staples).
  • HP Spectre x360 | regularly priced at $1149.99 - $150 off (students save an extra $150) (Microsoft Store / Best Buy).
  • Lenovo Flex 4 | regularly priced at $749.99 - $150 off (Staples).
  • Lenovo Yoga 710 15” | regularly priced at $999.99 - $100 off (students save an extra $150) (Best Buy).
  • Samsung Galaxy TabPro S | regularly priced at $879.99 - $100 off (Amazon).
  • Surface Book i5 128 GB | regularly priced at $1499.99 - $150 off (students save an extra $150) (Best Buy).

Aside from the nine notebooks above which have received discounts, students can also save $449 on a Surface and Xbox bundle or buy a Dell PC for $699+ and get a free TV. If you are going to take advantage of the offers, be careful not to burn too big a hole in your wallet.
