One of the most anticipated titles in LucasArts' 2002 lineup is its upcoming action game Star Wars Jedi Outcast: Jedi Knight II. Although it sports a "II" it is actually the third game in the series, following Dark Forces and Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II. The third time is definitely a charm, as Raven Software -- known for its Soldier of Fortune, Heretic, and Hexen games -- is well on its way to taking the series to new heights. As previously reported by other GameSpy scribes in our fine preview and Most Wanted Games of 2002 wish list, this title will take the series to new graphical and gameplay heights.
