The app might be 100% free but the installer tries to install around 20 or so crapware items, and it even installs relevant knowledge add-on even if it is unticked. This is very shady practice.

There are lots of alternatives out there, like Patch My PC and Secunia PSI that do not use these bombardment of installation tactics. Plus if I remember correctly, when sumo was first released it was riddled itself with malware.

Avoid like the plague I say.

Steer clear of this! It's a useful app but it has the most ridiculous adware sponsors I've ever seen, I counted at least 5 other things it tried to get you to sign up for.

I downloaded the adware installer just for fun, f***ing hell! I managed to avoid everything (Sandboxie, of course!), but I've never seen so much adware packed into a single installer.
