Thunderbird 14.0

Thunderbird is a free, open-source, cross-platform application for managing email and news feeds. It is a local (rather than a web-based) email application that is powerful yet easy-to-use. Thunderbird is developed, tested, translated and supported by the folks at Mozilla Corporation and by a group of dedicated volunteers. Thunderbird is free. Thunderbird has lots of cool features. Thunderbird gives you control and ownership over your email. There are lots of add-ons available for Thunderbird that enable you to extend and customize your email experience.

I for one am for the slow down. The program is very good and has a lot of nice features. Updates for security and bugs is probably all that is needed now. I do not like so many point upgrades it can be confusing to the layman and even for us on this forum.

Just checked my Thunderbird. No update there yet.

This will probably be one of the last version updates for this thing though, huh? At least according to an article I read on here a few days ago, or so.

Which is the death of any program. What a shame. Thunderbird is a great mail client.

I think they're still going to integrate instabird chat features.
