In what way is it better than Thunderbird? I've used the software, I was unable to find a point that was significant to bettering my workflow.

Might consider going back to The Bird again. SimpleMail addon doesn't want to function correctly in the latest builds (22+) anymore.

I don't. SimpleMail does exactly what its title says - it's simple. Receives stuff, groups into folders and sends stuff. Have Outlook at work. Don't use 95% of it. Don't need other stuff, too. Just mail.
