btw, Link6155 - the PDF option does work but you need to turn it on (about:plugins).
The MP3 playback works but differently- it does not play the file immediately, instead it allows you to download the file to your computer.
Do you use torch as well?

bryonhowley - what browser do you use, man?
I don't understand these hard feelings for chrome, it's really an awsome browser. The fact that torch is chrome-based is great and I enjoy it a lot.

Sounded ok up to the part about it being based on Chrome then I lost all interest it. Chrome is just not an app I would put on any PC period.

I think it has Flash and PDF.. if I'm not mistaken, I read it has the exact code chrome has, supposed to be the same except for the add-ons maybe

It's basically Chrome with sharing, video downloading, and torrent features. The PDF reader is not the same, as that is only available on chrome. MP3 playback is also not available. Since torch is chromium based, all extensions for chrome works on Torch.

Sounds like a bundled (bungled) bunch of garbage!!

Just reading the article almost makes me want to start using a strictly text based browser!!

Y U NO ADDON?

Apart from the torrent engine I instantly know Chrome addons that do that...
Does Torch have auto-updating Flash and PDF like Chrome?

Thinking about it, I THINK I recently saw a torrent engine for Chrome in the Chrome Web Store... could be wrong...
