On June 28, Valve plans to release two new maps for the WWII shooter, Colmar and Jagd (apparently, DoD die-hards should recognise the name Jagd from a previous battleground for the game, but the new level shares the title only). In addition, a new gameplay style called Detonation is being introduced in the update, Valve saying that the two new maps "will have slightly differing takes" on this fresh mode of play.
Meanwhile, the Half-Life dev's obviously have been having fun checking out fan and community discussion on the plot for its seminal FPS series, as it's pointed out in its news update on the forthcoming DoD: Source content that a couple of attempts "to chronicle the story's various questions and answers" have caught its eye.
