The weekend has arrived and for some of you reading this in the US it's a three day weekend thanks to the President's Day holiday. That's plenty of time to check out what sales can be found on the various PC game download sites.
Steam has quite a few games on sale this weekend, including 50 percent price cuts on Steel Storm, Torchlight II and Castle Crashers, and a 75 percent price reduction on FlatOut, Don't forget, all you Linux PC gamers; Steam has launched the Linux download store with sales of between 50 to 75 percent off on all of its Linux games.
GoG.com has quite a few classic and recent RPG games on sale this weekend, including The Witcher I and II, the original Torchlight and the Gothic series with 50 percent price cuts. GameStop has a number of games on sale this weekend, including Battlefield 3 for $19.99 and Tropico 4 for a mere $4.99.
Amazon.com's big Sims 3 sale has the main game and all of its expansion packs with price cuts of between 50 and 66 percent off. Green Man Gaming has a selection of games that are priced at just $1.99 each this weekend.
