Wish beta test launched.

Mutable Realms, Inc. and Themis Group announced today the beginning of the Wish Beta. This round of Beta is scheduled to run through the end of February, 2004, quickly scaling to 20,000 users. Wish is planned for release in Q4 2004. Read the press release for more details.

Wish defines a new category of fantasy MMORPG, which we call "Ultra Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game" (UMMORPG). Unlike existing MMORPGs that confine players to a server with only a few hundred other players, Wish's highly-scalable server cluster infrastructure allows us to support tens of thousands of simultaneous players in a single shared world.
