The MacBook Pro features a 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display with a 3024×1964 resolution at 254 ppi, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 1,000 nits of sustained XDR brightness, reaching 1,600 nits for HDR content and up to 1,000 nits outdoors for SDR. It supports one billion colours, the P3 wide colour gamut, True Tone, and ProMotion adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz.
Powering the system is Apple’s M5 chip, equipped with a 10-core CPU made up of four performance cores and six efficiency cores, a 10-core GPU with hardware-accelerated ray tracing, a 16-core Neural Engine, dedicated Neural Accelerators, and 153GB/s of memory bandwidth.
Furthermore, it features a 12MP Centre Stage camera with 1080p video recording and computational video enhancements, alongside a six-speaker sound system with force-cancelling woofers, wide stereo sound, Spatial Audio support, and a three-microphone array. Display capabilities include up to two 6K displays at 60Hz via Thunderbolt or one 6K display at 60Hz paired with a 4K display at 144Hz via HDMI.
