8Pack OrionX Extreme: Probably one of the fastest PC out there? [UPDATE]

Ian Parry, better known as the overclocking guru 8Pack, knows benchmarking and how to build systems that not only perform beyond great, but also break world records.

If you"ve ever wondered what an ultra high end gaming system looks like, then wonder no more. Together with Overclockers UK, they"ve announced the OrionX Extreme gaming system that boasts specifications that are sure to make your mouth water all the way to that Christmas wishlist.

In terms of pricing, I have been informed that this particular system is rumoured to be priced around the £18,000 ($26,000) mark. Time to start saving!

OrionX Extreme includes a bespoke water cooling loop which bears the 8pack branding in its reservoir design. It also houses an ITX system located at the bottom of the case.

The OrionX Extreme is built in the Phanteks Enthoo Elite, so new that it doesn"t yet feature on their website. Overclockers UK will soon be listing the OrionX on their product page, so be sure to keep an eye out for more details.

Update

To put minds at ease, I have been told that the system will be built with GTX 1080 cards when it goes on sale. The 1080s were simply not available at time of the announcement.
