Alphabet, Google"s parent company, today announced earnings results for the quarter ended December 31, 2025. The overall company revenue was $113.8 billion, an increase of 18% YoY, thanks to strong growth in both the Google Services and Google Cloud businesses.
The Google Services business revenue, which includes Google Search, YouTube, and others, increased to $95.4 billion, a 14% growth YoY. Despite significant competition from OpenAI"s ChatGPT and Google"s own Gemini, Google Search and other businesses grew 17%.
Google"s subscriptions, platforms, and devices business saw 17% growth, while YouTube ad revenue increased 9%. Google highlighted that YouTube ad and subscription revenue for the full year 2025 crossed $60 billion for the first time. Across Google"s consumer services, which include Google One and YouTube Premium, Google now has over 325 million paid subscriptions.
The showstopper in the results was the Google Cloud business. Thanks to growing demand for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) across enterprise AI Infrastructure and enterprise AI Solutions, Google Cloud revenue increased 48% to $17.7 billion. By the end of 2025, Google Cloud"s annual run rate was over $70 billion.

“It was a tremendous quarter for Alphabet, and annual revenues exceeded $400 billion for the first time. The launch of Gemini 3 was a major milestone and we have great momentum. Our first-party models, like Gemini, now process over 10 billion tokens per minute via direct API use by our customers, and the Gemini App has grown to over 750 million monthly active users. Search saw more usage than ever before, with AI continuing to drive an expansionary moment. We continue to drive strong growth across the business."
To meet the growing customer demand, Alphabet is expecting its 2026 CapEx investments to be in the range of $175 to $185 billion, up from $93 billion.
