Amazon opens pre-orders for Microsoft's Surface Go

Announced three weeks ago, Microsoft started taking pre-orders for its Surface Go right away. Other retailers are selling it as well, including Costco, which has its own exclusive variant with 4GB RAM and a 128GB SSD. Today, Amazon has posted its listings for the new suite of products, which include the device, bundles, Type Covers, and more.

The company is only offering the higher end model, which offers 8GB RAM and a 128GB SSD, for $549. The lower end one with 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC storage isn"t available. There are also bundles available that come with the new Signature Type Cover, although there"s almost no discount. It comes with a black Type Cover for $648.99, a Burgundy Alcantara Type Cover for $678.99, Cobalt Blue for $677.40, or Platinum for $676.20. You can order yours here.

Of course, you can order the Signature Type Covers on their own as well. The black one is marked up a bit, to $103.81. However, the Alcantara ones are not. The Burgundy is $129.99, and the other two are marked down a bit, with Cobalt Blue costing $128.40 and Platinum costing $125.81. You can find those here.

Finally, the Surface Mobile Mouse is available in Platinum, Burgundy, and Cobalt Blue; however, these aren"t sold by Amazon and they"re not available for Prime Shipping. You can find those here.
