Amnesia: The Bunker and Samorost 3 are free to claim on the Epic Games Store

The Epic Games Store refreshes its giveaway promotion every Thursday, and that means it"s time to grab a couple of new games. The latest titles are Amnesia: The Bunker and Samorost 3. As always, you have seven days to add the games permanently to your Epic Games Store library.

The giveaways kick off with Amnesia: The Bunker. Developed by Frictional Games, this is the third entry in the survival horror series directly developed by Frictional, following The Dark Descent and Rebirth.

This time, players take the role of a French soldier in World War I. Stuck inside a bunker and hunted by a monster, as usual for the series, Henri Clément has to search for supplies, keep the lights on, and use whatever is available to survive.

"Solve things your own way in a semi-open world," says the developer in the game description. "You must explore and experiment to make your way out. Figure out what’s going on down here - what has happened to the other soldiers? Where have all the officers gone? What diabolical nightmare lurks underneath this hellscape? Unravel the mysteries of the Bunker and get to know the nooks and crannies of this cruel sandbox to up your odds of survival."

If horror is not your thing, Amanita Design"s point-and-click adventure game Samorost 3 is also a part of the giveaway promotion today. The title follows a space gnome wielding a magical flute, solving puzzles across nine alien worlds. It is a longer campaign than previous games in the series, too, all with the studio"s iconic hand-crafted art style.

The Amnesia: The Bunker and Samorost 3 giveaways on the Epic Games Store are live right now, and they will last until October 23. PC gamers can add the title to their library for no cost during the seven-day timeframe before the next freebies arrive. Speaking of the next giveaway, Fear the Spotlight is the incoming freebie on the same day.
