Apple releases a new macOS 10.12 Sierra GM seed

Apple today posted another GM seed for macOS 10.12 Sierra in the Developer center. The new build is 16A323, which is a bump from last week"s 16A320.

Obviously, there"s not a lot that"s new here. This is the second GM seed, which means that the company likely found a couple of bugs that it wanted to squash before the public release, which is less than a week away.

macOS Sierra is the next major update to OS X, and it contains a number of new features, the most notable of which is Siri. You"ll also be able to unlock your Mac with your Apple Watch, assuming that you have two-factor authentication turned on in your Apple account. Users will get other features that bring macOS on par with iOS, such as picture-in-picture video and photos that organize themselves by people, places, and things.

For the first time since OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, Apple has ended support for certain Macs. If you"re not sure whether your PC will be supported, check out our list.
