ASUS ROG Xbox Ally handheld console is $100 off

Microsoft"s first handheld console, which was developed in partnership with ASUS, is $100 off. Usually, this Windows-based handheld goes for $599, but right now, you can save 17% and get it for just $499.

The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally has a 7‑inch 1920×1080 IPS display with a 120 Hz variable refresh rate support and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The console is powered by AMD’s Ryzen Z2 processor, a quad‑core APU with RDNA 2 graphics, while the higher‑end, more expensive Ally X variant uses the Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme with more CPU and GPU cores.

Both configurations ship with Windows 11 (a slightly modified version that has a few tricks up its sleeve to optimize the experience for gaming and better resource usage) and can boot directly into an Xbox‑focused interface for quick access to Game Pass and the Xbox app. To store the operating system and your games, the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally uses an M2 SSD (512 GB on the base model). As for RAM, you get either 16 GB LPDDR5 or 24 GB LPDDR5X, depending on the version you choose.

The console supports Xbox Remote Play (Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4) and Xbox Cloud Gaming for streaming titles from a console or the cloud. In the box, you get the device itself, a stand, and a charger.
