Asus shows off its gargantuan 34-inch curved ultra-wide ROG Swift display

Hot on the heels of a similar announcement from Acer, Asus is showing off its gargantuan mammoth of a monitor. Coming in at 34 inches and flaunting a curved ultra-wide 21:9 screen, the PG348Q has more adjectives than we can write.

Ultra-wide monitors are becoming increasingly more common among gamers for their more immersive experience, and companies like LG, Acer and Asus have now started capitalising on the trend.

Featuring the familiar gold and grey accents of Asus"s ROG line, the monitor is a beauty - both its screen and the frame. It also has a maximum refresh rate of 100 MHz for competitive first person shooters and support for Nvidia"s G-sync for buttery smooth gameplay. Users will also be pleased with the PG348Q"s pixel-dense screen, with a resolution of 3440 by 1440p.

When the monitor will be available and for how much still remains a mystery, but don"t expect it to be cheap. With a high resolution screen, a curved display and G-sync, this monitor is made only for the elite.
