At $129.99, ZTE's Max XL packs a 6-inch display, 3990mAh battery, and runs Android 7.1.1

It"s a bit of a rare breed when your handset is running Android version 7.1.1, but it looks like ZTE"s latest device will arrive to market with just that.

The Max XL isn"t a beast when it comes to specifications, although it still offers a decent array, like its Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.4GHz octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, and 16GB of storage with microSD support.

The handset will also come with a 13MP camera on the rear, 5MP camera on the front, fingerprint reader, and 3,990mAh battery. The Boost Mobile website states that you should be able to get around 26 hours of talk time. If that wasn"t enough, as mentioned previously, the Max XL will come with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, which is quite rare when it comes to Android handsets currently on the market.

The ZTE Max XL is available on Boost Mobile in the United States for $129.99. If you act now, you can take advantage of a promotional price on the unit that discounts it $28 to $101.99.
