AT&T announced today that pre-orders for the LG V20 will begin tomorrow. Customers will have the carrier"s various payment plans to choose from, with a 30-month plan costing $27.67 per month and a 24-month plan coming in at $34.59 per month.
Just in case you"re not good at math, the grand total for the device is over $830. Just to put that in perspective, that"s more than a Pixel XL or an iPhone 7 Plus, both of which come in at $769 for the base model.
The carrier is running a few promotions though. For one, "DIRECTV and Uverse TV customers that port-in a new line of service are eligible to receive up to $695 in monthly credits when they purchase a LG V20 on AT&T Next or AT&T Next Every Year with eligible services." AT&T has been pushing DIRECTV since it purchased the service in 2014, so this comes as no surprise.
You"ll also have the option to grab an LG G Pad X 10.1 for $0.99; of course, it"s not really $0.99, as you"ll have to agree to a two-year contract if you want it. If you don"t agree to the service agreement, you don"t get the tablet.
AT&T isn"t the only US carrier that announced availability of the V20 today. T-Mobile confirmed that the device will arrive on October 28, coming with free Band & Olufsen headphones.
