Capcom brings Final Fight to Street Fighter V with new DLC character arriving on July 25

It was nearly ten years ago when Capcom decided to resurrect its popular fighting franchise, Street Fighter, with the release of Street Fighter IV. The title was a great success, amassing quite a following and receiving many accolades. As a follow-up, Street Fighter V would be released, being a console exclusive to the PlayStation 4, but also releasing on PC. While it wouldn"t quite capture the same magic of its predecessor, it was still a highly rated game, despite it being plagued with technical issues at launch.

To keep the game fresh, a number of additions have found their way to the game via the Season 2 DLC, by way of new characters and stages. With its latest character addition, Capcom is reaching into one of its older franchises, Final Fight, and introducing Abigail. If unfamiliar with Final Fight, it is a side scrolling beat "em up title that required players to fight their way through a barrage of enemies and confront a boss in each territory - Abigail was one of the bosses.

Along with Abigail, the new update will also introduce a new stage, Metro City Bay Area, and will a couple costumes for the character as well. The update will arrive on July 25 for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
