CES 2018: LG's booth has an OLED Canyon, super-thin TVs, and more

Every year, LG"s booth at CES in Las Vegas is a lot of fun. Last year, there was an OLED Tunnel, which was an immersive environment filled with curved OLED TVs. This year, the Tunnel was replaced with an OLED Canyon.

To me, the OLED Canyon didn"t feel as immersive as last year"s Tunnel. Still, it looked beautiful. LG really does make an incredible OLED TV, and being surrounded by them is a great experience.

But while LG"s immersive OLED experiences are always my favorite part of the booth, there was a lot more. The firm showed off its Gram laptops, which are claimed to be the lightest in the world. Indeed, they don"t even feel like real computers because they weigh so little.

There were also some phones there, such as a special edition of the V30 that"s exclusive to South Korea, and a Raspberry Rose version of the device.

The new 4K UHD projector was there, and this thing is actually pretty cool. It"s capable of creating a 150-inch screen at 2,500 lumens. When the demo room had the lights out - clearly optimal conditions for a projector demo - LG wasn"t hesitant to turn them on to show just how well the projector works in normal lighting.

There"s all of that, and there"s more. Check out our tour of LG"s booth at CES 2018 in Las Vegas.
