CES 2026: ASUS brings AI and gaming power to Mini PCs

Intel and AMD have significantly improved their desktop processors over the past few years. Alongside higher performance, these processors have also become more efficient, making them better suited for the Mini PC form factor. At CES 2026, ASUS went all-in on Mini PCs by announcing the following four new models aimed at different customer segments:

  • ASUS NUC 16 Pro Mini PC
  • ASUS ExpertCenter PN55 Mini PC
  • ROG GR70 Gaming Mini PC
  • ASUS Ascent GX10 Mini PC

The ASUS NUC 16 Pro Mini PC is a compact 0.7-liter system powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3 processor with Intel Arc B390 graphics, delivering up to 180 platform TOPS of AI performance. It supports LPDDR5 and LPDDR5x memory for 20% improved performance and 50% better power efficiency. It comes with dual 2.5G LAN for stable wired connectivity, plus WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 for seamless wireless connectivity.

For sustained performance, this Mini PC utilizes a dual-fan cooling system. On the software side, it features ASUS AI SuperBuild for local AI model training and customization of large language models. Finally, the PC is validated against military-grade durability standards for enterprise deployment.

The ASUS ExpertCenter PN55 Mini PC is a Copilot+ PC powered by AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors with Radeon 800M graphics and an integrated NPU to deliver up to 55 TOPS of AI performance. It includes a dedicated Copilot key, fingerprint sensor, built-in microphone, and internal speaker to support voice interactions. Wired and wireless connectivity options include dual 2.5G LAN ports, six USB ports, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. This Mini PC is also tested for military-grade reliability standards.

The ROG GR70 Gaming Mini PC is targeted at gamers, featuring an AMD Ryzen 9 processor paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 or RTX 5060 Laptop GPUs. It uses a triple-fan cooling system to maintain stable thermals and low noise during sustained gaming sessions. Wireless connectivity includes WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for lag-free gaming.

The ASUS Ascent GX10 Desktop AI Supercomputer is targeted at AI developers and enterprises. It is powered by the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, with 128GB of unified memory for training and running large generative AI models locally. Developers can also scale into a private cloud by linking two units using an NVIDIA ConnectX-7 NIC. As expected, it comes with the full NVIDIA AI software stack to support local AI development.
