Coship to launch new Windows 10 Mobile flagship in July; asks how much you'd pay for it

Last month, Coship unveiled the Moly PcPhone W6, a new premium addition to its range of Windows 10 Mobile devices. As its name suggests, the high-end handset will include support for the operating system"s PC-like Continuum feature.

The company had previously indicated that it would be priced around $399 – around $100 more than its mid-range Moly X1, and $200 above the lower-end Moly W5. But it looks like the price tag for Coship"s new range-topper may not yet be set in stone.

Coship has revealed that the W6 will go on sale in July, launching first in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan. It adds that the device will be available in other regions later this summer – but significantly, the company is also asking potential customers what price they would be willing to pay for it, from the following price ranges:

  • $450 or more
  • $400-450
  • $350-400
  • $250-300
  • Below $250

Oddly, the $300-$350 range isn"t available as an option, but you can add that in the comments section of the feedback form, available at the bottom of this page.

The PcPhone W6"s key specs include:

  • 6.0-inch LTPS LCD with Full HD (1920x1080px) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3
  • Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor
  • 3GB RAM
  • 32GB onboard storage (plus microSD card support up to 200GB)
  • 13MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash
  • 5MP front-facing camera
  • Dual SIM support
  • 4G LTE connectivity
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac
  • NFC support
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • 3900mAh battery
  • 160 x 82.3 x 7.9mm; 176g

What price do you think would be reasonable for those specs? Are you thinking of buying the PcPhone W6? Or do you have your eye on another device? Let us know in the comments below!
