E3 2012 press conference line-up gets firmed up

We are now just 50 days or so away from the start of E3 2012. The single biggest event in the game industry is getting closer and closer to starting up on June 7 in Los Angeles.  This week, three game companies have announced plans to hold their annual pre-E3 press conferences on June 6.

VG247.com reports that Microsoft will start their Xbox 360 E3 2012 presentation at 10 am PT on June 6. Later that day, Ubisoft will hold their own press event at 3 pm PT, according to GameInformer. Sony will be the last to hold their event on that date. VG247.com reports that it will hold its E3 2012 press conference at 6 pm PT.

Nintendo has yet to confirm its own E3 2012 press conference plans, where it is expected to reveal more details about the Wii U. However, GameInformer reports that Nintendo has confirmed it will show Wii U versions of Super Mario Bros as well as a Pikmin Wii U game during E3 2012, which should please fans of both game franchises.

Electronic Arts usually holds its own pre-E3 press conference but at the moment EA has yet to reveal any plans to do so for E3 2012.
