EA: PlayStation 3 lead development console for Medal of Honor

EA Los Angeles" Senior Creative Director, Richard Farrelly, has revealed that the development of the next Medal of Honor is being led on the PlayStation 3 and that the team will “maximize” what the platform can do for the game.

Speaking an interview with CVG, Farrelly said that the team is working hard across all platforms, and reiterated that the game would not be compatible with Move, Sony’s motion-sensitive controller.

“We’re leading on PS3, we’ve developed the game on PS3,” he said. “We’re working hard to deliver the exact same experience across all platforms. I think for me the most important thing is for everyone that plays Medal of Honor is satisfied.

“I guess the benefit to the PS3 owner is that we’re leading on it, so we’ll maximize what that platform can do for our game.”

EA Los Angeles has confirmed the future release of a demo, and the game itself will have some “cool toys”.

The game will be made available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
