Elden Ring goes gold, gets new footage at Taipei Game Show 2022

Today, at the Taipei Game Show 2022, developer FromSoftware revealed that its long-awaited open-world action game, Elden Ring, has gone gold. This means that the game is complete and discs can be printed. It also means that the team will spend the remaining time — until February 25, 2022 — polishing the experience for the Day One Patch.

Elden Ring is one of the most anticipated titles coming out this year and was delayed a few times due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Hopefully, it"ll be a refined experience when it releases next month.

No going-gold announcement would be complete without new footage from the game and FromSoftware didn"t disappoint. During the Elden Ring segment of the Taipei Game Show, producer Yasuhiro Kitao showed new footage with never-before-seen locations. You can take a look at the compilation above.

Elden Ring can be purchased for $59.99 on the Microsoft Store or the platform of your choice. It"s coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
