Entry-level Surface Book drops to £1,199, a saving of £250

With the launch of the Microsoft Surface Book 2, it seems normal for Microsoft to slash the price of the Surface Book. Customers residing in the UK can grab the entry-level Surface Book for just £1,199, a discount of £250 over its existing retail price.

Despite being the older model, the Surface Book offers a decent set of specifications on board, including a 13.5-inch PixelSense Display touchscreen boasting a resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels, Intel Core i5 processor 6th generation paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB SSD storage. The display is detachable so you can use it as a standalone tablet when required.

The laptop weighs 3.34 pounds and measures 9.14 x 12.3 by 0.51 in. There"s an 8MP main camera, 5MP front-facing camera, and runs Windows 10 Pro as its operating system. There are multiple connectivity options available, including two full-size USB 3.0 ports, SD card reader, Surface Connect, headset jack and a mini DisplayPort.
