Flashy platformer Gravity Circuit is free to claim on the Epic Games Store this week

The Epic Games Store has once again refreshed its free games promotion. The weekly event just finished off its Nightingale giveaway offer, and to replace it, the company has brought in copies of Gravity Circuit for PC gamers to claim. As always, you have seven days to add the latest indie game permanently to your Epic Games Store library.

Released in 2023, Gravity Circuit arrives from developer Domesticated Ant Games. The title is an homage to retro platformers, featuring fluid movement abilities and melee-focused combat instead of the standard projectile-based attacks. Players can punch, grapple, and send enemies crashing into other foes with their combat skills, with more upgrades being found throughout the campaign.

The campaign has 12 stages to go through, with players taking the role of Kai to take down an army of evil doers focused on world domination. The game is set in a future filled with sentient robots. War hero Kai, wielding his mysterious Gravity Circuit powers, is called up as a last line of defense against the Virus Army foes.

"Reminiscent of classic platformers from the 80s and 90s, with action dialed to maximum, channel your power into your fists and send foes flying, or grapple them to get up close and personal. In your quest you will acquire many new powers, which will allow you to go even further beyond," reads the game description from the developer.

The Gravity Circuit giveaway on the Epic Games Store is live right now, and it will last until October 16. While not a free game itself, Epic is also offering a $55 worth bundle of goodies for the free-to-play medieval fantasy MMORPG Albion Online, with this offer also ending on the same day. Next week, the store will offer Amnesia: The Bunker and Samrost 3 for free.
