Generations Arena

Can all the creamy goodness of id"s five FPS games be crammed into ONE mod? WireHead Studios stepped up to the challenge, and soon, you will be able to see for yourself.

Thanks BaphomeT for the heads up on this one :) In the beginning, there was Wolfenstein-3D, and it was good. Then came DOOM, and it was very good. Then came Quake, Quake II, and Quake3, and they were all very good. Many fans flocked to the house of id, and rejoiced in the splendor of their favorite FPS games.

Of course, differences began to set in between the games" fans. Arguments would rain back and forth: which game was better, which characters were cooler, which weapons were most powerful, etc. Of course, with each game having radically different engines, there was no way to face off and find out.

Then came Generations Arena... and it was VERY, very good. :D :D

An upcoming mod for Quake III Arena, Generations Arena allows players to take their old-school skills, crafted from years of training in id"s classic FPS games, and battle it out online to see whose school reigns supreme. With five classes, almost 45 weapons, custom physics, and effects that prove the potential of the Quake3 engine, Generations has attracted enough fans to become one of the hottest Q3 mods out... once it is released, of course.
