The much-awaited Gemini 3 model is now official. After so much teasing over the past few weeks, Google DeepMind today officially unveiled the model. As expected, this new model comes with state-of-the-art reasoning and multimodal capabilities.
Google highlighted that the Gemini 3 model tops the LMArena Leaderboard with a record 1501 Elo score. Also, it scored 37.5% on Humanity’s Last Exam and 91.9% on GPQA Diamond. On MathArena Apex, it achieved a state-of-the-art score of 23.4%. It also performs significantly better in multimodal reasoning. The Gemini 3 Pro model scored 81% on MMMU-Pro and 87.6% on Video-MMMU. On the SimpleQA Verified, which tests for factual accuracy, this model scored a SOTA score of 72.1%.

Along with Gemini 3 Pro, Google also announced Gemini 3 Deep Think mode, which performs even better in key AI benchmarks. According to Google, Gemini 3 Deep Think scored 41% on Humanity’s Last Exam, 93.8% on GPQA Diamond, and 45.1% on ARC-AGI-2 (with code execution, ARC Prize Verified). Even with all the above improved performance, Gemini 3 models still support a 1-million-token context window.
Unlike in the past where the frontier Gemini models took forever to land in general consumers" hands, Google is now taking an aggressive release schedule. AI Mode in Google Search is now using Gemini 3 to enable new generative UI experiences, like immersive visual layouts and interactive tools and simulations on the fly based on user queries.
On the SWE-bench Verified benchmark, which tests the coding capabilities of the model, Gemini 3 Pro scored 76.2%, slightly below OpenAI"s GPT 5.1 and Anthropic"s Sonnet 4.5. For developers, Gemini 3 is now available in Google AI Studio, Vertex AI, Gemini CLI, Cursor, GitHub, JetBrains, Manus, Replit, and Google"s new agentic development platform, Google Antigravity.
For general consumers, the Gemini 3 model is now available in the Gemini app. For Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, it is now available in AI Mode in Search. For enterprises, the new model is available in Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise. Gemini 3 Deep Think mode will be available to Google AI Ultra subscribers in the coming weeks.
