Google Finance expands in Europe with AI research and live earnings insights

Google is continuing the rollout of its revamped AI-powered Finance platform, with the new experience expanding across Europe alongside full local language support. The launch builds on the company"s earlier announcement that the redesigned Google Finance would roll out to more than 100 countries worldwide after initially being tested with Search Labs users in the US last year.

The updated platform introduces AI-generated financial research, advanced charting tools, live earnings insights, and expanded real-time market coverage as Google pushes deeper into AI-driven financial services.

With AI-powered financial research, you can now ask detailed questions about individual stocks, sectors, or broader market trends and receive comprehensive AI-generated responses alongside links for deeper exploration. Furthermore, Google is also expanding access to Deep Search in Google Finance globally, allowing users to tackle more complex financial queries with enhanced contextual analysis.

Google Finance is also introducing upgraded visualisation tools aimed at helping investors better interpret market activity. The new charting experience supports technical indicators, including moving average envelopes. You can additionally tap on key points within stock charts to view explanations behind major price movements on specific trading days.

To keep users updated as markets shift in real time, the tech giant has revamped the platform’s news feed and expanded market coverage for commodities and cryptocurrencies. The company says these additions are designed to provide more timely and relevant financial intelligence directly within the Finance experience.

Another notable update is live earnings support. With this new feature, you will now be able to follow corporate earnings calls through live audio streams, synchronised transcripts, and AI-generated summaries. Moreover, Google is also adding annotated highlights intended to help investors quickly identify the most important takeaways from earnings discussions.

The European rollout marks another step in the company"s broader push to integrate generative AI into its consumer products and financial services ecosystem.
