Most companies have strict policies regarding product leaks, which is that they don"t confirm them. Google today took the opposite approach though, going all-out and posting a picture of its upcoming flagship handset, the Pixel 4.
The image shows a dual-camera module and an all-black body. It"s the first time that we"ve seen dual rear cameras on a Pixel device, as the search giant has always claimed that a single lens is all that"s necessary, being one of the first to deliver portrait mode without a secondary sensor.
It"s also the first time that we"ve seen a solid color on a Pixel. Historically, Google has used a two-tone design, which really hasn"t been received well.
Other than that, the Pixel 4 will likely include Qualcomm"s Snapdragon 855 chipset, and it reportedly will come with 6GB RAM, according to OnLeaks. It"s not clear if the larger Pixel 4 XL will have the same kind of notch as the Pixel 3 XL, but we"ll likely have to wait until the devices launch. If Google follows its usual trend, we"ll find out in October.
