High on Life 2, Avatar, and Pirate Yakuza lead packed Xbox Game Pass February wave

It"s already February, and Xbox Game Pass subscribers didn"t have to wait long to get their latest Xbox Game Pass announcement. Microsoft today revealed the first wave of games for its subscription services for the new month, and there are some heavy hitters coming just in the next couple of weeks.

The most high-profile releases in this announcement include High on Life 2, the latest comedy action game from Squanch Games, which lands as a day-one drop, and Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii for those that want another JRPG experience from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora from Ubisoft is here too, the open-world title set in the same universe as James Cameron"s hugely popular Avatar movies. EA is even bringing in Madden NFL 26 for EA Play subscribers this time, the latest entry in the long-running sports series.

Here are all the games that were announced today for Xbox Game Pass:

  • Final Fantasy II (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – Available Now
  • Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii (Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC) – Available Now
  • Madden NFL 26 (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 5
  • Paw Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship (Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC) – February 5

As a whole bunch of games arrive at the service, only a single game will be leaving it in the near future. This will be Madden NFL 24 (just as the newest entry lands) on February 15.

That concludes the first Game Pass announcements for February. The second wave of the month should be announced in about two weeks, with even more games for the Microsoft gaming subscription services.
