Honor to introduce Ryzen 4000-powered PCs at IFA 2020 [Update]

IFA, the electronics event that takes place in Berlin, Germany, is one of the few events that"s planning to go ahead during its usual schedule this year, though with some changes to the format. Huawei sub-brand Honor announced today that it will be making a handful of announcements at the event, on September 4th.

While details are scarce for now, Honor says its MagicBook line of products has performed pretty well in European markets, and so the company will be introducing new PCs at IFA. These PCs will be powered by AMD"s Ryzen 4000 series processors, just like the MagicBook laptops that launched earlier this year at MWC (and that we"ve reviewed).

There"s more to be announced at the event, including a new rugged smartwartch designed for outdoor sports. Honor says the watch is designed to be an "adventure companion" for things such as hiking and mountain climbing.

Finally, Honor will also introduce its first tablets to be globally available at the event. These are the only products to have a name right now, the Honor Pad 6 and Honor Pad X6. However, nothing else is known at the moment. We"ll need to wait for the formal announcement at IFA on September 4.

Update: Honor will be live-streaming its announcements on September 4. You can tune in on YouTube to watch the reveals unfold, starting at 10:25AM GMT.
