iTunes Windows developer kit released

Apple has released yet more software for Windows – a software development kit (SDK) for those building software on that platform that lets them integrate iTunes into third-party Windows applications. ArsTechnica reports the release – which is available to members of the Apple Developer Connection – "exposes some iTunes functionality through the Windows Components Object Model interface". It means Windows developers can create code to allow their apps to control functions within iTunes.
