Just like everything else, Minecraft is also hitching onto the 4K train

Coming this fall, Microsoft is launching a DLC for Minecraft which it"s calling, rather cleverly, the "Super Duper Graphics Pack" for Minecraft. The update will also players to finally enjoy their world building in 4K and makes the game"s pixelated palette pretty - well, prettier.

The update will also bring Crossplay across the many Microsoft - and some other - platforms that the game is currently playable on and improvements to servers and the community marketplace.

The update will be coming to both PC and Xbox One X. Whether the Xbox One and One S will also be able to run the game with these updated graphics is unknown, though we will likely find out soon when its rolled out in Fall 2017.
