LA Men Charged With Piracy

Three Los Angeles men have been charged with conspiracy to commit copyright infringement and violating the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. The trio which consists of Jonathan Bryant and Jason Jones, owners of the ACME Game Store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, is accused of modifying Xbox consoles to play pirated games as well as pre-loading Xbox systems with pirated games. The defendants are scheduled to appear in court next month.
