LG X power 2 makes its debut right before Mobile World Congress, packs 4,500 mAh battery

Although LG has been fairly cryptic and coy about its upcoming flagship, the G6, it appears that the firm is content with unveiling its mid-range offering, the X power 2, before the start of the show.

While we don"t get much information about the handset from the video posted to LG"s YouTube page, the folks at Android Authority have details about the specifications of the handset.

The X power 2 will offer a:

  • 5.5-inch HD display
  • 1.5 GHz octa-core processor
  • 1.5GB RAM
  • 13 MP rear camera with 5MP front-facing camera
  • 4,500 mAh battery
  • Android 7.0

Although it isn"t the most powerful set of specifications, it should appeal to those that want something with modern features and excellent battery life. LG has not announced a price for the handset, but it will be made available in the US, Europe, and other markets around the world in March.

LG will be in attendance at Mobile World Congress and will hold its presentation on February 26 for the G6. Neowin will be hands-on at the event and will bring coverage and first impressions from the convention show floor.
