It was only last week that LG debuted its sibling handset for its G-series, the G6+. Although it did not offer many differences in a majority of its specifications, it did deliver a RAM upgrade from 4GB to 6GB and upped the storage to 128GB. If the G6 or G6+ isn"t quite to your liking due to its size, you"ll be happy to know that the firm is also working on a mini version of the G6, that will apparently be dubbed the "Q6".
This news comes from Evan Blass, who has been well-known for providing highly accurate information about handsets that have yet to be announced. Blass also stated that the display on the new model will arrive with an 18:5:9 aspect ratio. Furthermore, it looks as the though the Q6 will lose the dual camera setup and opt for a single 13MP sensor and also come with 3GB RAM.
If looking for something more substantial, the firm is slated to offer a new iteration of its V-series handset in the coming months. While this has not been confirmed, the V30 could arrive with Qualcomm"s latest Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, and a curved OLED display. The design could also be a stark difference compared to its predecessor, ditching the secondary display and offering a glass rear to accommodate wireless charging. The V30 could be announced at IFA in Berlin in September.
