Maine Education Department Chooses Apple to Supply Laptops

Today it was announced that Apple Computers won the bid presented in January by the state of Maine to fulfill a new education technology initiative.  This initiative includes the purchase of over 36,000 Macs for teachers, librarians, principals, technology coordinators and all grade seven and eight public middle-school students.

Factuality will receive their Macs during the summer of 2006 while students can expect to receive laptops in the beginning of the 2006-2007 school year.
